1. Who is responsible and what this covers
JTC INTERACTIVE – FZCO, IFZA DSO, Dubai, UAE (United Arab Emirates) provides Unfeast and is responsible for the personal information processing described here. Contact info@jtcapps.com for support, privacy requests and appeals. This Privacy Policy takes effect on 22 October 2026.
Your wellness history is stored on your device, without an Unfeast online account or automatic history sync. Apple, subscription services and optional marketing measurement involve separate processing described below. Local storage does not mean that no information ever leaves the device. The separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains health-related categories, disclosures and rights.
2. Entries and local personalization
The app stores fasting plans and history, active timer details, manual weight and water entries, schedule and goals, questionnaire answers, age range, and optional sex/cycle settings. It uses these for the timer, history, comparisons, personal estimates and plan limits. You supply these entries; elapsed timer events and estimates are generated by the app.
The wellness profile and history do not automatically sync through Unfeast or its appearance-preference cloud storage. Unfeast does not send questionnaire answers, fasting history, weight entries or menstrual dates to RevenueCat or Tenjin. The app does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. Optional Apple Health insights
If you enable Apple Health insights, Unfeast asks Apple for read access to sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, active energy and body mass. Menstrual-flow access additionally requires your cycle-guidance choice. You choose categories in Apple's permission sheet. Apple does not tell Unfeast which read categories you denied, and an empty result need not mean that no records exist.
Readable summaries are held in memory for insights. Derived fasting estimates, a period start, or estimates you confirm or edit can be saved locally. Unfeast does not write health samples back to Apple Health.
Withdraw Apple Health insights in Privacy controls to stop reads, clear temporary insights and remove saved estimated, confirmed-estimate and edited fasting records. Edited records have mixed provenance, so all edited fasting records are included; the control explains this before deletion. Manual timer/widget records and manually logged weight remain. Separately allowed cycle details remain until cycle withdrawal or full local deletion. App controls do not delete original Apple Health records or revoke Apple's permissions; manage those in Health or iOS Settings.
4. Optional cycle guidance
If you enable cycle guidance, entered dates, cycle lengths and related settings are used on this device to adapt guidance and fasting limits. With separate Apple Health access, readable menstrual data can also be used. This is sensitive reproductive-health information. Estimates do not establish fertility, pregnancy, ovulation or a medical condition.
Turning off the feature pauses guidance. Withdrawing Cycle guidance in Privacy controls also removes saved cycle dates, lengths and related guidance. Your other wellness features remain available. Raw cycle dates are not included in the widget or Watch messages, although a personalized fasting target can reflect your plan.
5. Widgets, Live Activities, Watch and reminders
A local app-group container holds limited timer state, pending timer actions, targets and plan limits for the widget. Live Activities can show session start, target end, protocol and fasting status. Local reminders may show fasting or trial information. People who can view your device or notification previews may see these details. Manage visibility in Apple settings.
If you use the Watch companion, limited fasting state and the current water total are sent to your paired Watch. Timer/water commands return to iPhone. The devices retain a recent state and bounded command receipts to avoid duplicate actions. These messages exclude raw Health records, menstrual dates and weight entries. Earlier paired-device or system-display copies are not necessarily removed when you delete an individual history entry.
6. Backups, files and appearance preferences
Your fasting history does not sync automatically. Reinstalling Unfeast alone does not restore it. Separately, Apple device backups may include app data according to your settings; Unfeast cannot verify when a backup completed. Only the appearance preference can use a private iCloud configuration when available, with a local fallback. That preference contains no wellness history or raw Health records.
History Backup manually exports eligible timer-tracked fasts and optional manually logged weight. It excludes raw Apple Health records and the rest of your profile, so it is not a complete personal-data export. A target in a timer record may reflect your personalized plan. You choose a destination such as Files, iCloud Drive or another provider. Manage exported copies there; local deletion does not erase an older file or system backup.
7. Apple purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat, Inc. supports subscription access, purchase/restore synchronization and purchase measurement independently of optional marketing consent. It receives an app-specific identifier, purchase/subscription records and service-related technical metadata. Network connections can expose an IP address. Unfeast does not receive full payment-card details from Apple.
Unfeast does not send raw Health records, fasting history, weight, menstrual dates or questionnaire answers to RevenueCat. With optional marketing permission, attribution identifiers are added for the measurement described next. Turning marketing off does not end necessary subscription processing or erase existing transaction records. Apple and RevenueCat process information through their services as described in their policies.
8. Optional marketing measurement
If you confirm the marketing disclosure and allow iOS tracking, Tenjin, Inc. measures installations and subscription events from promotions. This can involve advertising, installation and vendor identifiers, purchase/subscription events, tracking status, app/SDK/OS version, device model, locale and network information. Tenjin can infer an approximate country from the IP address; Unfeast does not request GPS or precise-location access. Attribution identifiers are also set in RevenueCat for subscription forwarding.
Unfeast excludes raw Health records, fasting history, weight, cycle dates and questionnaire answers. An identifier linked to installing or subscribing to a health app can still suggest a health interest; it is not anonymous. The recipients used by this app's attribution path are Tenjin and RevenueCat and their service providers. Additional advertising-partner uses need an appropriate disclosure and permission before activation.
Turn off Allow marketing measurement in Privacy & Data, or withdraw tracking permission in iOS Settings. Unfeast stops its Tenjin measurement and requests removal of forwarding identifiers; server-side changes need connectivity. This stops future consent-gated measurement, rather than automatically deleting earlier vendor-held records. You can request deletion at info@jtcapps.com. Declining marketing does not disable the timer or cancel a subscription. Apple can separately supply aggregate advertising-attribution reports.
9. Private testing and diagnostics
Public Release builds disable Unfeast's JTC diagnostic recorder and uploader. Eligible private or debug builds can offer technical diagnostics, off by default. If you enable them, app/build/OS information and technical or lifecycle events are sent to JTC to investigate faults. Raw Health records, fasting history, weight, menstrual dates and backup files are excluded from these diagnostics.
Turning diagnostics off stops uploads and clears the local queue; it does not delete earlier server uploads. Contact info@jtcapps.com about those records. Private tester builds may also contact the JTC update service, exposing ordinary connection metadata. These private testing features are separate from public app use.
10. Support, sharing and other recipients
If you contact us, we receive your message, contact details and information you choose to send. We use them to respond, address privacy requests and resolve issues. Avoid sending a full backup or detailed medical records without first agreeing a suitable method.
Sharing a card, exporting a file or opening an external study link sends information to the recipient, app, file provider or website you choose. External sites receive ordinary web-request information and apply their own policies. Review content before sharing. We may disclose information we hold where legally required, to protect lawful rights or safety, or in a business transfer subject to applicable protections. The local wellness store is not routinely uploaded to us for these purposes.
11. Records of choices
Unfeast keeps local records of purpose choices, dates, app build and the disclosure version shown. Older document acknowledgments may remain. Opening the app or reading an updated notice does not manufacture a new acceptance or enable an optional purpose.
Minimal choice, pending-cleanup and deletion metadata remains after local wellness deletion to honor withdrawals and reject an older in-app recovery archive on this installation. These records are not an authenticated server audit trail and are not uploaded by Unfeast. Device backups may include them. Limited availability state is shared locally with the widget.
12. Retention and deleting data
Local wellness data remains until you change or delete it; there is no general automatic expiry. Privacy controls offers Delete all local wellness data. It stops the active timer without adding history, pauses tracking, and removes local wellness profiles, history, manual weight/water, cycle details, shared timer journal contents and known legacy wellness keys. Interrupted cleanup is retried; wellness use stays paused until completion. Logical deletion is not a forensic wipe. Appearance preferences, Apple purchase entitlements and minimal privacy/deletion metadata remain.
The control ends app-managed health reminders and Live Activities, clears local Watch command state and sends a paired-Watch reset. An offline, unavailable or older Watch may retain data until it receives a compatible reset; check it separately. Future optional marketing/diagnostics is disabled for this installation.
Exported files, other installations, Apple Health source records, device backups and vendor-held records are outside this local control. A recovery archive older than the deletion cutoff is rejected here; that does not erase the file or prevent a separate system/device restore. For records held by us or our processors, email info@jtcapps.com. Retention depends on the subscription/service relationship, resolution of requests or disputes, applicable legal duties and backup cycles. We assess deletion requests under applicable law and pass them to relevant processors where required. Deleting data does not cancel an Apple subscription.
13. Your requests, choices and complaints
Depending on applicable law, you may request confirmation of processing, access or a copy, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, an objection to processing, or an appeal. Use local controls for entries stored only on your device. For other records or help, email info@jtcapps.com with the request and relevant context. You do not need to create an Unfeast account. We may ask for proportionate information to verify the request; do not send identity documents or full health records by default.
We respond within the period required by the law that applies, explain any lawful extension or refusal, and do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights. To appeal a refusal, reply to the decision or email the same address with “Privacy appeal”. You can also complain to the competent privacy or consumer-protection authority. See the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for US health-data requests. A local delete button does not replace our obligations for information held by us or our processors.
14. Legal bases and international processing
Where EEA or UK data-protection law applies, processing needed to provide requested features and subscription access is based on performance of the service contract; consent is used for optional Health/cycle purposes and marketing, including explicit consent where required for sensitive data. Legal duties can require retention or disclosure. Handling support, securing services and resolving disputes may rely on legitimate interests, subject to your rights and the limits on sensitive-data processing. Reading Terms alone is not consent to optional processing. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
JTC is based in the United Arab Emirates. RevenueCat and Tenjin process service information in the United States and use subprocessors. Their published data-processing terms include Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers. RevenueCat’s terms also describe UK and Swiss adaptations. The safeguards applicable to a particular transfer depend on the processing arrangement and local requirements. Countries can offer different protections. Contact info@jtcapps.com for information about the safeguards relevant to your data or a copy where available. Your local wellness history is not automatically sent abroad by Unfeast merely because these integrations exist.
15. Rights where you live
The rights and safeguards required by your local law continue to apply. In the EEA/UK, these can include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and a complaint to your supervisory authority. In Switzerland, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. Canadian users can ask about access, correction, withdrawal and our cross-border processing and complain to the relevant federal or provincial privacy authority.
Australian and New Zealand users can request access/correction and raise a privacy complaint with us and the relevant Information or Privacy Commissioner. Brazilian users can exercise applicable LGPD rights, including confirmation, access, correction, deletion and information about sharing, and contact ANPD. Users in Japan, Singapore, India, South Korea and Mexico can use the same contact channel for the access, correction, deletion, consent and complaint rights provided by the law applicable there. US state rights may additionally include opting out of sale, targeted advertising or certain sharing and limiting sensitive-data uses. Leave marketing measurement off or disable it for this installation, and contact us about earlier records or other requests.
We do not treat a broad contractual permission as overriding a consent, transfer or consumer right required where you live. If you need an accessible explanation or help identifying the relevant authority, email info@jtcapps.com.
16. Security, adults and updates
Unfeast is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not invite children to use fasting features or knowingly seek their information through those features. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information to us.
Device protection, access restrictions and service security measures help protect information, but no storage or transmission method is risk-free. Protect your device and backup destinations. If an incident requires notification, we provide notices as required by applicable law. We update this Policy when practices change; the effective date appears above. Material changes receive appropriate notice, and new optional purposes require the relevant choice before they begin.
